are you allowed to drink on national rail.

I just think in similar situations why should I have to move? THEY are the disruptive ones, I shouldn't be inconvenienced because of them.

While this is true there's also an element of pragmatism here, even utilitarianism if you will - excuse the paraphrasing but the greatest good for the greatest number doesn't involve keeping you happy if the rest of the carriage wish to drink.

However that doesn't make it right for you to be inconvenienced, just that practically speaking they're allowed to drink on the train so while you maybe shouldn't have to move it may be the path of least resistance and most likely to achieve a happy outcome.

I believe it is frowned upon to drink on a train if you are its driver ...

It's frowned on for any member of train staff I believe, in fact as far as I'm aware it's a dismissable offence in some (all?) rail companies for any member of staff to have alcohol in their bloodstream when at work.

Challenge their leader to a fight to the death. When the beta males see you go all alpha on him they'll accept you as their new leader.

Also, where's hurf durf when you need him?

As title. I'm on a train and there's a group of people who a pretty drunk and drinking more. So far it's a horrible experience. I would check on the national rail website, but I'm on my phone so it's more convenient to ask here. Cheers

if they are foreign call the cops to come in and shoot them.

Ring a taxi to chuck a national rail hand book a the window slate, catch it read it then roll a cig and smoke the rules and then go **** the idiots

Maybe it shouldnt be allowed, but until its actually not, theres not a whole lot he can do.

As long as they dont do anything to threaten or intimidate him directly then he's got nothing he can complain about really. Just grin and bear it till its over.

As long as they aren't being a nuisance then I have no problem with it... could be because I'm usually sitting there drinking a few cans as well.

always a mystery to me...are people incapable of going somewhere without needing a drink...can they not wait a couple of hours and have a beer when they get to their destination?
