are you allowed to drink on national rail.

I assume this post was aimed at me? If so, I'm 17 and no, I've never left my parent's basement.

I've seen people drinking on the train a few times before. It's just that they've never been loud, foul mouthed, and generally unpleasant to be around.

I think he meant someone else mate, but in all honesty, there's not much you can do aside from move carriage.

You're probably just scared of them.

I got invited to a rave once by a group of drinking people on the train, they were pretty cool :D

If you think we have fun on trains, take a train in Thailand, it's like a party, drink, smoke, eat, sleep, dance, whatever lol

I had a great experience with a group of drunkards on a train. Broke down on the way to Nottingham on New Years Eve, they had two crates with them so they cracked it open and shared with us, we got drunk for an hour then the train was fixed and headed into Notts for the festivities. Even the conductor had a few!
