Automax Nanotech Fuel Enhancer

Does he have empirical proof?
Measured mpg before and afterwards in a double blind test in the same conditions?

Nope, all I got was a phone call from him saying it works, I was just shocked that he ignored my warning about it and went ahead and bought it. So I just said OK...

will give him a call tonight see if he can actually produce this evidence of working

When I was young, there were loads of these devices and additives that you could either fit to the car or put in the tank, claiming to save fuel... newspapers were full of the ads.

They reckoned that if someone fitted all of them to their car at once, they would have to drain off the surplus fuel from their tank, every five days!

I've just called him and told him all the feedback you've given me, but he insists it works and is using it himself aswell. says on £60 fuel he can get £70 worth which to me is a pretty dumb way of testing it. Also something about being bought out by Ecosway and the product is sold out in London. Which is just WTF, I'm living there at the moment and never ever heard or seen any mention of this Ecosway.

Either way it seems like hes made some sales of it already and will continue buying/selling it until its unwanted.

Edit: Found that website hes talking about, seems the store locator for it just leads to a sign up form with a sponsor referee number required else you cant continue. ecosway dot com.

Google Maps doesn't give a London branch but only a birmingham one, can't check further since theres no street view.

Leave him to it, It's pretty obvious to see he won't listen to a word you say.

He will learn when his fingers get burnt.

This junk really does not work.

Yeah i've been thinking that too, but I don't want to see him go bankrupt or into any debts (again!) Its been a tough childhood for me and watching him going through 2 bankruptcies already. Being his son, I'd want to help him as much as I can :(

Sounds like he isn't cut out to run his own business sorry to say, If he won't listen to you, What can you do? All evidence points to this stuff being a scam and it not actually working. He might b-able to shift some of it, but people will come back at him telling him it's doing nothing and they want their money back etc.

He was probably trying to sell his customers "The latest and greatest in frozen foodzzzz, They taste just like fresh for half the cost"

He seems easily taken in.

Stop trying to convince him, it'll only cause a divide between you..
He'll soon see.

What you may wanna do though is make sure he has good home insurance because I would guess it's highly flammable(?) and he has a front room full of it...

I really don't appreciate you making random assumptions on my father, it wasn't anything to do with the food itself, he couldn't keep up with the lease payments, as the landlord raised it significantly.

Yeah I've told him to stick it all in the garage, nothing else I can do for him now.
