Down in Brighton for the week for the PCS conference and looking for restaraunt reconmendations near the old west peir area.

Tonight I fancy Chinese or a frankie and benny style place but others for later in the week gratefully recd!

Apparently there is a Jamie's Italian in Brighton. I went to the one in Covent Garden and it was really nice and good value for money IMO.

For relatively cheap but good food donatellos is fantastic, 3 courses for £11 last time i went there, and was so tasty.

A bit more upmarket is "the townhouse", in kemptown, brilliant british food.

there is also a jamies italian, pizza express, zizzi's, bella italia etc etc

mongolian barbeque is very good. Its almost like a buffet, but you pick your ingredients and take them to the chefs and they cook it in front of you. All you can eat as well, plus they give recommended recipes so you dont screw up :p lol.

Terra a Terra for amazing vegeterian food, The Office for a very homely pub with top quality Thai food, Mai Ped Ped for a small intimate Thai experience, Indian Summer for posh end indian curry, Pompoko for very authentic and reasonably prices Japanese food, Moshi Moshi for slightly more up market Japanese food..

Theres a huge amount.

Wow - thanks guys. Went to jamies tonight, bit of a walk but worth it! I'll try the others later on in the week.
