And especially this one!

C&C welcome as always :)

I like the last one, the first one is cropped too tight at the top I think.

Unless there was something really distracting above their head I think it would be nice to have some headroom.

Agree with Raikiri. Can see what you were going for but they don't look enough like leaves for it to work imo. Works very well in the last one though :).

I have to disagree with the masses here. I think the first one is great. If I was to crop anywhere I would prob remove the trunk far left. More headroom.... hmmm maybe only so that when it comes to full bleed print you don't loose that space you have in your web versions but we are talking 3-6mm more to cover that. Are the leaves distracting.. well I have done this thing time and time again so I like it. This shot screams "candid, private moment, something the guests wouldnt of seen" I iike it.

2nd one I dont like sorry.
I think a full silhouette is what this should have been or something a lot less contrasty.

Like the 3rd.

Second and third are spot on but the OOF leaves in the first are a little bit distracting.

This to be honest, love the 2nd (slightly too contrasty) and 3rd (especially this one), but he OOF leaves in the first are noting doing anything for me.

The OOF leaves are just too OOF and it looks more like lens flare or ghosting. The effect is sometimes nice when the foreground leaves are slightly more in focus to act as a frame, i.e. the viewer is peering through the some trees and grabs a glimpse of the happy couple. But here, the effects doesn't work for me personally. Plus the cropping, more room below the feet than above the head is a little unnatural.

I really like them, the moments in 1 and 2 look really romantic and genuine.
OOF leaves look ok to me, and add dimension, they could have been a tiny bit more in focus but any more than that and the would detract and not add.

No.3 has really good composition, but the kiss looks a little awkward on his part, he should have his other hand on her waist or something or maybe in a pocket, she looks amazing though and is holding the bouquet in a nice relaxed position.

What I'm not keen on is the PP'd vignette, as it gives the image too much of a processed look rather than a natural honest look, imo the vignette needs to be backed off at least 50%.

Overall pretty good!

I really like 2 and 3. I bet the couple will love no.2.

I find the OOF leaves in 1. slightly irritating. I know what you were trying to do, but it doesn't work for me in this picture

Great set, only criticism is that the vignette could be a little bit more feathered. Quite like the framing though, works well for me :)

Hey Phate

I really like the 1st the OOF leaves are a little distracting, but i like the effect, almost dreamy like, is it me or does it need a little 'left hand down' to straighten?

Love the 2nd, period!

3rd, not so much, if you had moved 5ft left i think that would have improved no end, which would have had the tree on the left hand edge, and by the looks of it, fields in the backgraound.

good work fella

Thanks Wedge :) - For the 3rd thats exactly what Mark did and he had a 70-200 on as well gave a great feel to the image, I'll post it later :)

phate, PP on the first one - did you boost the clarity (if in lightroom)? The faces looks to me ever so slightly cartoonish (too much structure if that makes sense).

The vignette in 2 is excellent, it looks naturally frame in the foliage. The vignette in 3 needs toning down IMHO

1st and 3rd have so much potential i think, lovely capture. Needs that extra wow factor during post processing. Any chance we can have a play on the raw and upload a jpg on here?
