Camping! Give me a quick guide

people forgot beer! loads of beer. We camp and so much gear that we now have a trailer.

we have this http://www.outwell.com/en/Products/TentsTarpsWindscreens/Tents/DeLuxe/HartfordXL.aspx which we love to bits. loads of space and 3 bedrooms. We take a gas stove and cool box and some luxuries which at times includes the laptop as the kids can watch a movie if its raining.

loads of games and the kids bikes.

rotters

how times change. The best we could manage was a plastic bucket and a really crap fishing net on a cane, which usually fell apart as soon as a fish got near it. Or a frisbee (no aerobie for me), or a tennis ball that we'd stolen from some kid's dog.

Oh and travel battleships with 31 missing pieces.

Always take an extra blanket to put beneath you as during the night 90% of your body heat will leave through the floor. So if you have a lovely blanket it will keep you warm and prevent you from being cold the next day.

To added to the above lists

12V lights to plug into the car, hang from tent ceiling.
Big tent is a plus if you plan on camping for longer periods.

crude arrow to be slightly helpfull. its not an easy job or I would repair it.

the tent was set out perfectly, we had an almighty storm and that was the only damage. sorted out the guy ropes in the morning and it looked non saggy again.

Best tip I can give is use a spare tent peg to remove the other tent pegs when you are packing up. :)
Also make sure the tent is well dry before packing away else next time you come to use it it will be mouldy :(

Psp, ds for when you wake up at 4/5am..... it happens:o

Other than that, firepit/bbq, make sure you take bricks or some kind of stand, site owners get angry as if you burn their grass.
