Hey all,

In regards to the jacket in this link: http://www.burton.co.uk/webapp/wcs/...nt_category_rn=&categoryId=&productId=1876276

I really want it (or something very similar) but Burton have stopped selling it and won't be getting it back in stock (I phoned them up about it).

I don't normally buy anything from the high street clothes stores but this jacket caught my eye when a mate of mine bought it back in January.

Does anyone know of a website/store (other than ebay) that sells 'out of season' jackets from the high street stores? Or anywhere where I could get a similar looking jacket. I did try ebay but had no luck.

I think it's plain to be honest... nothing worth chasing for, it doesn't look good and knowing Burton the quality of the Leather is probably really low...

Get a hoodie and a proper leather jacket, it would look much better then that.
 
Surely your mate won't thank you for turning up everywhere wearing the same jacket as him, it may even lead to people thinking you're together ;)
 
Well opinions and all that aside, there is a really expensive jacket that I do want but they don't do it in my size (sleeves are too short) and to have them extend JUST the sleeves will cost £500. I may get it at some point but not any time soon. The one I posted in the link is cheap and looks good (imo). Just a shame it's out fo stock and never to return. Just wondered if there was anywhere where I could get it or similar. TK Maxx is probably my best shot... Though it's a complete gamble lol.
 
Man up. My Armani leather jacket costed me £600. If you want a nice leather jacket you can't expect to buy it from Burton for £20. You are better off getting another type of jacket, cheap leather looks awful imo.
 
Good for you. The one I will eventually get is going to cost about £500. For now I am interested in the one I posted in the link or something very similar. A casual jacket. Not real leather, hence the price.
 
you don't need that jacket, there's nothing special about it. Just get any normal leather jacket in any high street store and use a hoodie underneath it. That's why I asked what do you like so much about it? Is it the hoodie effect? I'm a fan of that too.

...and most people probably wouldn't notice the difference between it and my £60 Blue Harbour leather jacket from M&S.
 
No it's the design of the 'leather' jacket bit itself. Like I said I don't know why, I just like it. All the other highstreet places are currently trying to do these ridiculous 'biker' lookign jackets that just come off as a gay rockers jacket. Trying to blend with all this 'scene' crap and long fringes that 'men' seem to be going for these days. A jacket like the one I linked to would be good for me as I'd have it + the hoodie thign if it was cold outside and then my t shirt's underneath that.
 
Ooops didn't look at the prices, last time I glanced at topman most of their leather/leather look jackets were in the £30-70 range.
