Hi there I'm looming to upgrade my case to an obsidian 800d from corsair and this case supports mAtx, ATX and eATX motherboards sizes.
my motherboard is a Asus deluxe 6PT V2 all I could find out on the asus website is that this motherboard is form factor ATX does that mean size so it will fit into the 800d properly.

Yes it will fit in the 800D if your going air cooling you might want to reconsider that case though as its not very good with aircooling but great with watercooling.

Which GPU are you running?

Out of curiousity, I too have bought a corsair H60 but haven't fitted it yet as I'm waiting to get a new case first. When people say it's no good for air cooling, is that generally or is it mainly just an issue for the CPU?

ERm... the 800D is one case where you don't have to worry about the size of the gpu. It's the biggest case out there... you could park a double-decker bus in there... two in fact, side by side. Cross fired double decker buses, y0. Just buy some fans for the top the exhaust air, have the H-60 sucking air in through the back, and the air movement inside will be great for cooling your graphics.

Hes not on about the gpu size hes on about the heat the gpu produces its ok having it exhausting out the top but that heat is still inside the case, it will be heating everything up on its way out with no way of having any decent cooling airflow within there to keep the components cool like the gpu.
