How much is a slightly bashed Iphone worth?

I've got a black Iphone 3GS which is the 32gb model.

I've had it about 2 years now and its probably seen better days, to the extent that the hold button doesnt work and the vibrate function is very tempteramental and doesnt always seem to work!

I took it to Apple who said they can do a hardware fix for a standard £125, so i'm just trying to decide whether its worth doing that or if its worth selling and using the money towards a new phone
 
You should get at least £125 for it I would imagine.

So that gives you £250 for a new phone effectively :p
 
Id sell and move on, if its possible to add some money to a new phone?...are on a contract?

Ya may only get about £100 for it, the homebutton is pretty damn important lol.

I'm on a very cheap £15 a month contract my mrs took out for her son but was then surplus so i took it over to save her wasting cash. Got it for about another 5 months but should be able to buy out of it pretty cheaply. Ideally i'll want to get another iphone, i've an android tablet but i think the IOS is just a bit nicer to use and with all the apps i've bought i wouldnt want to waste them.

Its the Hold button (the one at the top) thats broke, the home button works fine
 
Sorry, my bad I read it as Home.

Then yea a bit more, say about £150 as said..maybe £170 but wouldn't think it.
If you Bay it it can be weird, sold my iP4 that has scrapes at the bottom metal/ plastic part, and on the top bit of metal, still went for £366 with lots of watchers/ bids, so their still good sales on slightly "off" ones.
