5 of us stayed overnight (me, Steeps, Gaffer, Kat, and the latter's friend Mike) but on Saturday we had an additional 3 - the 3 guys in the 1st pic.

All shot on with the Nikon D40 and these ones were with the Sigma 50-150 f/2.8 mostly.

Was going to post this thread shortly but I still have a little bit of processing to do, I'm trying to decide which of my wildly different monitors has the most accurate colour!

Shots look good Sam and I'm looking forward to the rest, both yours and the others.

It was a cracking day and I rather wish I wasn't working and could have made Fri+Sun too. Thanks are also due to Gaffer and Kat for their epic plan and hospitality and to everybody for the sharing of gear and lenses.

edit: also bring on London! (if I can afford it)

I was about to ask why all your pictures are of others taking pictures, and why everyone brought a camera. Then I looked at the forum and realised this wasn't just any OcUK meet :D

A few I got round to uploading:

If the london meet is anything like this then I will feel a bit inadequate with my kit lens :(

All my urban landscape shots were using the kit lens, which was half of the 400 odd photos I took over the weekend, so don't worry about it. There's always going to be someone with something better...except maybe for Gaffer.

I did indeed have an old school camera (an Ihagee Ultrix from the 1930s) but it is medium format (120 film) and I'm not yet sure if it even works!! Thats my first roll of film through it so once I get it back from Loxley I'll post it up.

Finaly found time to link the images. They're looking mighty bright on my works monitor, hopefully they're not too bad.

Dan, those photos look great; the long exposures make them really dramatic, and the vignetted ones came out surprisingly original.

Done a few more of mine, but still lacking free time. At least I've got this evening to play with them.
