It's a good idea, but the trouble is a lot of places that need these places will be quite hard to reach. It looks like you'd need a lorry to transport it to the area which could be problematic. That being said, a very good idea nonetheless.

Could be a useful tool for the military.

Could use it in all sorts of different ways.

Only problem is that its not really portable, in the sense that once its up, you cant take it down.

It's portable, it's not reusable.

Easy enough to break up the cement 'shell', fill sand bags or pave roads with it. The inflatable inner is probably recyclable; assuming you don't drill holes through it probably reusable too.

Great idea, crazy that its not been thought up before, considering the Romans were using poured concrete mouldings 2000 years ago the step to this isn't that huge surely.

I like the thing, but for disaster relief, how is this better than just a tent?

a tent must be lighter -cheaper- more transportable, only slightly less sturdy, but disaster relief shouldn't be long term.

Unfortunately dissaster relief in many cases is for the long term.
