I like panama for mine kills. Lots of vehicles roaming around and only a few routes they can go. Plenty of cover as well, so easy to sneak up and stick mines behind vehicles.

Going to try and run GPU-z tomorrow/day after whilst playing to see if I can monitor my temps as two crashes in 10 minutes is a little strange. I think all my GPU temps are well below 80 degrees with my Shaman cooler, VRM might be a tad higher but they are good up to 130 degrees. CPU I know is ok.
Will have to drop my USB temperature probe into the top compartment of my case and see what the temps are doing with an extended play session.
I really don't want to crank up fans and make more noise. I like silent gaming.

Teal crashed and the rest of the SQDM lads disappeared the round before you joined. I was too tired to continue too. Maybe another time
Also played a bit of nam earlier, feels strange going back to it, seems to run a bit smoother than vanilla, (not that vanilla is slow for me, as fps are always pretty high).

I've noticed hit reg is a bit off - blood shows but no hit registers - but dont seem to be suffering from lag (unless that's part and parcel of it, but not noticed any stuttering or warping) and i'm playing UK servers mostly from Moscow on a 4MB connection.
GPU-Z still crashes out BC2 for me. Played a single SQDM game and once the game had finished and the screen went black ready to load the next map it hung with the noise stutter. You'd expect after 2 1/2 months of the problem being brought to the attention of Punkbuster and the developers something would be done.
Anyway my max GPU core temp was 66 degrees, highest reading 67 on GPU sensor 3 and 64 degrees on the VReg. Temps were up and down quite a bit as I think graphical load changes quite dramatically whilst playing.
Highest temp at crash time was 62 across all readings.
Looks like I don't need to increase my fan speed on the Shaman cooler, it's just awesome even at 800rpm.
Maybe the crash is a driver issue. Had to go back to 11.2 after 11.5 wouldn't play ball with my HD recorded television playback. I also noticed that CCC had difficulty loading after rebooting yesterday, although it's fine today.
Maybe it's just one of those things.
Will try the MSI Afterburner renaming file modification as suggested.
Edit: I was able to play a couple of rounds with the renamed cfg file without crashing. Intended to add a few more kills to the STG 77 Aug but ended up getting 30 knife kills to 15 STG kills.
Knife kills always bring a smile to my face.

Qualifications to join: When an enemy is less than 10 metres away your first instinct is to stab rather than shoot. Fail stabs are frequent but you get stacks of tags most rounds and are quite able to warp a fair distance to plunge the blade in.
