Launcher pro woes :(

So, last night I got home from the pub and was bored so thought I would download some apps, now, I noticed launcher pro was needing an update, so I did... Oh what a mistake :(

It isn't working! In short, I can't uninstall it, non of it's features are there, nothing, and I have paid for it btw.

What should I do? anyway to manually remove it from the phone?

HTC Desire, rooted ect ect.

Couldn't do anything situation.

Resolved by a quick google. Had to download a app called 'Homesmack' or something like that, but first had to uninstall launcher pro manually from my sd card, reinstall it, launch the home app, switch to launcher pro and set it all up again...

Hope it doesnt happen again :(

Homesmack just clears the default action for the home button, you can do this without the app or just delete the LP apk from /data/app via ADB so when you next hit Home the stock launcher should load and you can reinstall LP or restore the data and app via Titanium Backup so you dont' have to redo everything in it again.
 
I've looked at Simi and it's still not as functional but yeah, depends on what you want I guess.

Go also has multiple gesture support whereas others just have dock icon gestures.

+1 for GO Launcher EX :) bought it, love it, wouldn't get rid of it, now i need a custom launcher which is suitable for my tablet, however, the stock Asus Honeycomb Launcher for the Asus Transformer is really nice, sorry for off topic :D

EDIT:

Didnt buy it, its free, still love it, wouldn't get rid of it :p
