New belt smells like fish.

I think that comment was more referring to the name "River Island" and the link between the name and the smell of fish :D

I didn't even realise that :D.

River Island has always seemed a bit pretentious to me. I go in occasionally but end up walking out soon after trying not to laugh. I mean, come on, wtf is that?, or this?. Maybe it's just me and 'fashion' don't see eye to eye.

:p

Nah your not alone, I think the only thing I go in to places like River Island and Topman for, are Jeans, I can't stand the T-shirts, shirts and everything else.

Much rather order tops and stuff from T-Shirt shops online.

Now I have seen this fishy belt thread, I am going to steer clear of their belts from now on.

Yea you are 100% right. The only things I have ever bought from river island are their jeans (they do nice normal jeans), belts, and sometimes a polo shirt. They have a lot of retarded stuff though like you linked. I hate most of their jumpers/tshirts/shirts etc. I mean, they have these tshirt things with a built in hood, thats on the front? I dont get it.

All other belts I have bought from there are fine. They do nice belts, I guess just smell them from now on :(

Pound a pint. Wrecked after four. 2 quid for a kebab. 3 quid taxi home.

Wrecked after 4 pints, seriously?

Oh comon.. letme guess, you use the tears of virgin 18 year olds as aftershave.

To be honest most of the 'expensive' aftershaves work out cheaper than Lynx. I pay around £30-35 for a 100ml spray bottle that easily lasts 6 months or more, you'd easily spend more than that in the same period of time on Lynx.

Hahaha I just walked into my mates room earlier and he said "My belt ****** stinks!"

I showed him this thread lol, he bought his from River Island too :D
