Yes your doing it wrong - try a real benchmark :D Windows Experience scores are useless - I get exactly the same GPU one from my Laptop (GTX260m) as I do on my gaming desktop GTX470 SLI and the SLI setup is working perfectly fine.

+1 to WEI being useless, if you want to benchmark then use a real benchmark

That said, make sure you are running the lastest AMD catalyst drivers and have both of the PCIE power connections insterted into the graphics card from the PSU.
 
Do not worry about Windows score. Trust us.

Download a program called Fraps and play a game to see what your Frame Rate is. If it is above 30 or 60 (depending on your standards) then you're golden.

My 6950's each get 7.9.

Together, however, and overclocked, with the system overclocked, they get 7.4, which is my average score :)
 
WEI is as accurate (and as consistent) as rolling a four-sided die + 3 for the integer and a 10-sided die for the decimal.

If there are no other indicators that you are getting less performance than you should, just ignore it.
