Revenge is..dangerous!

I can see if the you lad gets convicted he'll end up getting my customer fired for bullying.

BTW car in question is a 2002 astra 2.0 SRi, not that it matter that much I guess. Way the owners talking it'll probably be an insurance write off due to cost involved to fix versus value of car. Looking at £150 total cost so far, brake hose inc fitting, repairing abs wire (it soldered) and recovery from near the guys house.

Accused is 18 years old, has learning difficulties and ADHD? i think thats what its called. But he's very good with his hands, always working on cars at his house to make a few quid on the side, so he knew what he was doing. Funnily enough his job was fitting brake lines on HGV trailers. Our Scania man R404 will know what company i'm talking about now, he's maybe pulled one of their wagons one upon a time.

Possibly Aspergers? a common trait is that they can have a hard time knowing right from wrong especially when worked up. (Well I think its that they know its wrong but their brain is telling them to do it anyway).

I have no sympathy for him he deserves it.
Some times people can commit suicide beause of being bullied at work or school as we all know from the news.

Would you have any sympathy for other road users if he was to drive with no brakes?

Has the ADHD been diagnosed?

Everyone has problems. It seems that if your problem has a 'name' you can get away with anything!

'Cutting someone's brake lines? Oh, THAT! Yeah, that was just my Aspergers acting up...'

Whata croc of ****

Life is hard, deal with it or **** off.
I have no time or sympathy for those who think suicide is in any way any sort of option at all.
They can go hang themselves in the woods for all I care, if that's what they really want.
Just don't make a song and dance out of it or involve other people by walking out in front of a bus.
If what you really want is help, then go and get help.

Yeah life isn't easy for anyone, but that doesn't give anyone an excuse to be a **** towards someone else, if everyone made a bit of an effort to be a little more considerate towards others it would make life just a little bit better for every one.

I don't think you even know how hard life can be.

who was it that said that suicide is the ultimate selfish act ?

Its done because somebody wants an easy way out, and don't care who they hurt in the process. People don't get driven to suicide, they choose it.

Cutting a coolant hose isn't that bad, I think you guys are making a bigger deal out of this than it deserves.

School is different. You choose to go to work, and can choose to get another job. There will always be banter when lads work together, if there was a recording device in our office most of my lads would get the sack if senior management heard them :D They get on well with each other though, it's just banter.

I really dont think he would get out of the car park without brakes do you.

Their car park opens up onto a 40 MPH road, and has trucks driving on it (evidenced by the fact that their workplace were working on trucks).

What if his parking space faced straight towards the car park exit? Set off, drive 10 yards to car park exit, oh no, can't stop, oh no, HGV, oh no, dead.

Attempted murder in my book.

Police in this morning asking for the cut brake hose, never kept it, its in the trade waste bin. They told me to get it out and I just looked at the guy, seriously i'm not going through the bin looking for it, if he wants it he can get it himself. After telling him as much he didn't seem at all impressed telling me how it was evidence in a crime and that I shouldn't have thrown it out, but it wasn't me that binned it, was the boss.
Bah why are police such ass's sometimes.
Boss got our apprentice to get it out. I left work early, can't be arsed with that carry on today.

Personally I think "banter" is a dangerous thing. The last place I worked we all had some good laughs, but the situation that seems to be described here is pure bullying.

There is no time and place that is acceptable.

Oh and before someone bleats about I'm justifying mass murder and the killing of innocent kittens, I don't condone the guys behaviour, merely feel sorry for him.*

*Giving him the benefit of the doubt before I get more details.
