PC SHUTTING DOWN

Hi guys

A mate of mine has just built a pc with these parts

gpu : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-139-OK

motherboard : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-147-MS&groupid=701&catid=1903&subcat=

cpu : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-266-AM

he has an case fan also using the motherboard power

and he brought this case which comes with the psu : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GALAXY-PC-TOW...ting_DesktopComponents_RL&hash=item3a62f1718b

So he is powering everything up using a million molex splitters and 2 molex to 6pin pci e power adapters for the gpu lol

Now everytime he runs a game like cod 4, battlefield etc, his pc just shuts off about 10seconds into the games.

I think that its the cheap psu supply that comes with the case (link above)

What do you guys think?

a million adapters and a bad psu - > BAD idea.

Hes on a tight budget.

Can anyone recommend a psu for that setup please?

NO. Good quality psu's ONLY, like the one suggested above

Yeh it comes with the 2 cables that you need any plenty more.
Nice little PSU there would be perfect for your needs

I'd go with this one personally.

It's more suited to gaming, 5 years warranty, over 500W on 12V, ect... but the L7 will do with that setup.
