Doubtful. Fire alarm would go off and the movie would stop.
Why would they stop the film? Some people might want to die while watching their favourite film, no harm done.

Especially from an evolutionary point of view.We were also told to "leave disabled people". Apparently they hold up everyone else so we should leave them for the fire brigade. Makes sense I suppose.
I don't go to the multiplex anymore for many reasons already mentioned in the thread. I do still go to the cinema but I go to the one at the theatre and arts venue (Eden Court) instead. Their patrons, for the most part, are from a different demographic. They tend to actually want to go to the cinema to watch the film rather than eat noisy/smelly food, slurp drinks and talk the whole way through the film.

Incorrect, the fire exits behind the screen are also emergency exits, they are not alarmed and are a secondary exit used whence exiting the cinema. So with this knowledge I can easily throw out the troublemakers safe in the knowledge that the alarm will not be activated.
