I used to follow the NHL until they went on strike over wages. After that I lost interest.

Unfortunately, my team, the Leafs didn't make the playoffs, again! I'm surprised hockey isn't more popular in the UK, it's a great sport too watch live.

I wish it was. I've been lucky enough to live near Hull and Altrincham whom both have ice arenas. Just good fun to go skate there and the hockey is good to watch, loud atmosphere, especially at Hull.

Flyers are my adopted team.

I live in Kirkcaldy, so have grown up watching the Fife Flyers (your adopted team?

) for over 20 years. Frustrates me to see them where they are now

Yeah they made it, got Phoenix in the play-offs, won the first game 4-2.

ESPN carries the playoffs... sometimes im really into the NHL then othertimes im not. Problem is I love the NBA which runs at the same time.

Be interesting if Phoenix do achieve something in the playoffs as the fans (probably more than the league) want the franchise moved to Canada again as its not really thrived down there.

Watched game 2 of Chicago vs Vancouver last night, awesome game, Chicago were always playing catchup but piled it on at the end but couldn't get the equalizer. Looking forward to game 3 now

I wish I could get Virgin Tv, then I could get ESPN America at a decent price. Sky is just too expensive for me, to shell out say £50 a month. Gutting really as I love the NHL.

I try and follow the Avs when I get the chance, next season I might subscribe so I can watch the live games, it's reasonably priced.
