Right guys literally just about to purchase my last 4 bits for my rigg. The mobo I was gona buy whic is this one

is blooming out of stock !! :(

However I have seen this one

Its pretty missleading however I was allways under the impression that the out of stock mobo was £10 more because of the crossfire/sli abilities. Yet on the information it says the £99.99 has crossfire too :S. Can anyone clarify this for me.

Ive got an I5 2500k
The NZXT Phantom case in black
4gb of corsair xms3
Artic cooler 7
XFX XXX Black edition 750 watt psu.
Sony DVD drive
Seagate Barracuda 500gb
Asus GTX 480.

Any advice would be awesome I need to buy the GPU,MOBO,DVD DRIVE and Harddrive tonight I have all of the other parts allready.

Cookeh check that link I posted above and look at Post #5.

I have bought this board just waiting for it to arrive, and when I was looking around other websites someone did manage to get SLI working on that board.

Is crossfire 8x/8x the best crossfire or is there better ? Sorry im a bit of a noob with this lol :) and is it the same with sli ?

The X58 boards can do crossfire & SLI at dual 16x but with dual 8x the performance difference is very minimal.

x8/x8 is not the best, but it wont slow your cards down atall.

also, you better get your behind in here stulid. i TOLD you the G45 could do SLI :p
 
I'm also looking to buy the GD53. I'm not buying till next week though, hopefully back in stock by then!

Oh and yes the G45 does do SLI/Crossfire.
