Any reason not to buy the LG W2363D?

I suggest you save yourself the mental anguish and possible conflict of opinion and buy it. ;) If you really don't like it then you always have DSR (Distance Selling Regulations) as a fall-back which hopefully you are aware of.

Ok then don't really know much about that act but I doubt I won't like it as I'm going from a 20" Samsung 2032bw :D

+1

At the price it is a really nice monitor and no deal-breaking failings to worry about.

If you don't like it you can always send it back (under DSR as PCM2 mentioned) and go for the Dell U2311H :)

I used to own one of those pieces of.... Yeah you'll love it. Just buy it ;).

I realise my posts are often a little more insightful but what often happens is people start building up a new monitor purchase for days, weeks, months only to finally get it and wish they'd done so sooner. Possibly because the price was lower when they were first looking and they missed the boat!

For a decent 120hz monitor you can't really complain with the price. Considering to get one for myself, and I haven't found any reason why not to buy it.

Running with one right now. Great monitor. For the price its good. It aint no Alienware AW2310 @ £400, but its a very close 2nd/3rd.

AxeMan...you didn't even justify that comment.

I personally don't think much of the alienware monitor, but it depends on what you are after really.

have two of these, read quite a lot about them before buying them and they do need a bit of tweaking to get the best from them, but i'm very happy, enabling thrumode, and tweaking the colour settings to reduce the blue emphasis they are very nice for the price, i use them for 3d modelling/rendering (have deuteranopia so never chase best colour representation as its a bit pointless for me but it doesnt have much effect for the most part) . The 120 hz is great for games if you can get close to 120fps. The two things that annoys me about them is the light bar at the bottom, why LG why! just not needed and annoying, and the grey on black touch buttons to adjust settings, you can hardly see them, these are minor frustrations but frustrations none the less that tarnish what seems to me a great value monitor, i'll be looking to my third soon enough especially at current prices.

^ pretty much what I was gonna say. Stellar monitor for gaming and an absolute staple for my console gaming now.

Console gaming ewwwwwwwwwwwww

On a serious note.

I'm running one, it's a bloody nice monitor for gaming. The IQ isn't mind blowing of course but it's feel/response is what is paramount for gaming.

The controls on the front are the only downside practically invisible....

can i just say, anyone thinking about going to 3d, i am not sure about monitors and what kit is good or bad, but if you are sitting on the fence. let me take this opportunity to push you off this fence.

i've just done the fall myself, so so glad i did. i am simply amazed at what 3d is like and what it brings in terms of gaming content, video content and an edge to 3d photos.

eveyone i have shown so far have been amazed.
