Alternative or similar to The Sopranos

So i finished watching all seasons of The Sopranos last night,what a fantastic TV show!

But now im missing it already,are there any other shows out there thats similar or nearly as good as The Sopranos.

Are you after a similar story, ie Gangsters, in which case check out Boardwalk Empire, or after similar style in which case check out The Wire.

If your looking for something thats just as good, I would say The West Wing was better (imo) than The Soprano's - which I too thought was fantastic

Though W.Wing is not in the same vein as Soprano's ofc

I thought Boardwalk Empire started slow, was OK in the middle then wandered a bit aimlessly. I agree it is like Sopranos in the 20s but the quality is nowhere near. The West Wing and the Wire are two good options for top quality series.

The Wire is probably my favourite show ever so check this one out.
Boardwalk Empire is also quite good, starts slowly but it picks up later on.
