It actually has been very windy, as you know. Trees all along the hard shoulder on the M74. Been absolutely wild in Glasgow.

Tree blew over in the local park along side of the road as I was driving past today. Almighty great cracking sound and then the ground shook. I nearly soiled myself!

I went for a run last night down by the river at Glasgow Green. Surprised I didn't get hit by anything, branches were flying around all over the place, trees falling over everywhere, ended up oaky though. Unsurprisingly hardly anyone else was out and about, bunch of saps.
