TBH disappointingly it looks just more of the same rather than anything particularly eye opening (like the Battlefield 3 trailers for example).

Hopefully as more footage is released it will look more special

It is slightly disappointing that it still seems to be using the same gfx engine. If the gameplay is more like MW than BLOPS then I'll be happy.

Will be interested to see how BF3 handles western urban environments.

Aside from a couple of things that looked a bit boxy, mostly I thought it looked pretty good, especially for a ~14 year old engine.

Again, why fix something that is not broken I hope it plays exactly the same as MW2 (silky smooth, great netcode). and Rroff the boxy stuff is just the codec used for the video.

The question is who is coding the MP and who is coding the SP. I hope IW are taking care of the MP rather than sledgehammer.

Was talking about the geometry/texturing, in a few parts you can see its roots i.e. the underside of the underground train was pretty low detail, some of the incidental objects were a bit low poly, etc.

No I was asking the question. MW2 was fine for what it was albeit like most games of its genre it had its flaws.

I'm just wondering why MW3 is being seen as MW 2.5.

Ill be getting BF3 too so ill have best of both worlds

If this had a new graphics engine I bet a lot of people wouldn't be saying it's the same as MW2. They aren't going to spend money on a new graphics engine when there's probably only going to be 2 more of these games until the new consoles. It's the same situation with FIFA except you get far less people going in there and trolling the thread saying it's the same just with one extra gimmick a year and new kits/transfers.

Seriously people if you don't like the game or aren't interested in it then don't bother posting in the thread, get a life.

I agree, COD being more of the same isn't even a problem. I dont understand why people would want to change a winning formula.
