Over at our trek forums someone posted this news titbit of info about a new Star Trek TNG film but this time it is a xxx parody. Dont worry OCUK theres no porn in this thread and the makers of the parody are actually releasing 2 versions, one without xxx and one with, so fans of trek can enjoy the story without the naughy bits.

Earlier this year TrekMovie reported that Star Trek: The Next Generation was getting a porn parody. Adult film maker Revolution X has now released a trailer for "Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody" and it is actually safe for work. Digital Sin’s The Star Trek: The Next Generation – A XXX TNG Parody DVD/Blu-ray comes with two versions – allowing you to choose to watch with or without the adult content. This means that Trek fans can watch the film just for the story, and in this case it is a story about the return of Tasha Yar. It even deals with the sci-fi/Star Trek concept of multiple universes.

Here is the official plot description:

While en route to Starbase 112, the Enterprise detects strange electromagnetic readings emanating from a barren M-Class planet. Upon further investigation, it is discovered that the source of energy is in fact a box containing Tasha Yar (India Summer), the long dead former Chief of Security of the ship, in cryosleep. Is she the real Tasha Yar? Is she a clone? Or is she something completely different?

Personally i might get it just for the trek/story (non xxx version) as the trailer looked canny and an actually interesting story and good production values. Ok it aint really trek but hell its closest thing were gona get for awhile and its TNG. :)

What a brilliant bit of marketing!

Not only can they sell to the horny nerd demographic, but make a few bucks off the prudish yet desperate for a sci-fi fix crowd too!
 
The lads in the office have already seen it. Apparently it is funny because it is so bad.
 
My friend bought be big titted zombies for my birthday which I thought was just going to be pornographic (but its not), but again, it's a film that's so bad it's good.

Also I learnt that the Japanese don't have a translation for 'thank you'.

So it wasn't a complete waste of time.
 
Speaking from a trek fan, it was a good plot I wont ruin it but it was a welcome return for Tasha yar, they really should have done it properly within the tng universe and you can see some proper trek fans came up with this storyline...

I have also watched the film but sadly there were no Deanna Troi with Beverly Crusher scenes, but they did allow Picard to finaly enjoy Beverly Crusher towards the last scene:)

Data got another chance to exchange android fluid with Tasha...

Ensign Ro managed to release some much needed bajoran tension with Commander Worf minus the wrist sniffing....

Overall it was done well and proud to somehow have the billing of star trek within its name... I look forward to the next one if there is of perhaps we will have Deep hole 9?
