MSI P67-65 or ASUS P67 Deluxe?

As above, not just for Asus's appalling after sales service but because you get a lot of features for your money - pound for pound when compared to the Asus.

Plus, they've had consistently positive feedback from the forums - this even got me to migrate from buying a Gigabyte for the first time in 5 years (was an ASUS buyer before that).

Ok, I was thinking about getting the Asus over my current MSI P67 65. I thought the Asus were better at overclocking but I'm probably deluded thinking that lol

The MSI will overclock just as far as the Asus.

You'll reach the limit of voltage needed and/or temperatures before the motherboard gives out.

I'm overclocked to 4.8GHz on the MSI which litteraly took a few minutes to achieve.

I'm sure I could go higher but there's not really much point for what difference it makes.

I have owned my MSI 65 for a couple of weeks now, and it brillant, overclocked easily to 4.6 but more impressive, I have curently been testing with 4.5 and lowering vocre and results are epic, currently running at 4.5 with a vcore of 1.240 and after primer 95 for 2 hours and with vdroop on low, vcore topped at 1.280 and temps didn't go above 62C. Great board the bios is great being able to use a mouse, and the other reason why I choose MSI is their is a guy on te forums who is a direct link to the couple who deals with a lot of RMA and warrenty issues and is always willing to help out.

Another vote for the MSI board here - I'm loving mine! :D It about time the manufacturers gave us a BIOS with a GUI!!

You appear to have a cracking chip there. Mine will only overclock if I pump loads of volts into it :-( Can I get a chip from anywhere that will guarantee a good overclock?
