Google :p It would seem it is a self branded saddle (Scott Racing / CROM rails) so you might not be able to get it after market.

Thats all I got from google too.

I hoped someone may have some inside knowledge.

Ok spec me a saddle.

Anyone have experience of

Selle Italia Maxflite Gel Flow 2011

or

Selle Italia C2 Gel Flow Saddle 2011

The top cop doesnt hold your forks on, its purely for preloading the bearings.
You need the top cap to be pulling up the steerer by putting pressure on the headtube stack ie stem and spacers. So you want the stem or spacer to be a few mm higher than the top of the steerer.

Still a bit confused, I'm assuming I need a 1 1/8th top cup and a 1.5" bottom and a reducer for the bottom to take it down to 1 1/8th, Hope have this listed:

HS136 - Tapered 1.5" Reducer (crown)

No idea if it's what I need though, waiting on them emailing me back.

See here you would want cups 1 and D, D comes in either traditional or low stack.

Ok if you want to be pedantic :p the stem clamps the forks on and the star nut is for pre-load but it is also the fail safe should your stem fail, I wouldn't ride without it fitted correctly securing the forks :)

OK well, I know this isn't really the place to put this but I'm under orders to show off my fiancee's engagement ring - hope the mods dont delete this!

Oh yes... this is going to be a fun trip to Scotland soon! ;) :p

Set off from the Infimary, down through the main gates to Haigh Hall off the main road.

Tarmac'd down to the bottom, over the bridge, then left and along the side of the river, sand and then its brick/cobbles/mud. Follow the track up, and it brings you back out further up the footpath. You can work your way to Haigh Hall almost all the way on the brick/cobble/mud tracks.

Then go past the hall, and down the access road, take a left and it takes you down a gravel access road, over the canal. Then theres a mud track under the railway and takes you close to the RUFC. You can loop back round and head back up to the hall for some extra climbing.

Its not that technical, but the climb up is moderately steep, steeper than the trail centres I have been to, so it works well as practice for there. You can do some small jumps and there are some steps and stuff too you can work in. I have seen some quite big drops/steep slopes that some other riders have used, but seem a bit too big for me.

Sounds good, I used to go through Haigh Hall often, but mainly walking with the family. There's apparently a new trail near Winter Hill, some friends said it was ok, but quite short.

Anyone need tyres?
