netto axle stands.

its safe to say that netto stole those off the back of a lorry

god knows how they can make and ship 4 for that price , even china would struggle with that one

if the welds look half decent id trust them though

Asda own the Netto UK business as of last year, so it is Asda who is supplying "inferior" products if that is the case. :)

Might be good for resting the bar of a light trailer on when it's not attached to a towbar, but that's all I'd put on them.... Or maybe garden cane and practice limbo.

i got mygirlfriends fiat brava in the back yard atm. Ill test them out on that. She hasnt past her test yet (booked for 4 weeks time). Got loads of tools in the boot. Should make a good trial. Ill post a pick when ive done it.

Can't say I'd invest in a 'value' jack or jack stands

The Halfords ones are tried and tested, they're cheap enough

I have some Netto axle stands, but they are the 3 ton heavy duty ones and not the folding type. They are completely solid. Had em a few years with no issues.

ive got some cheapo folding ones, used them for years, yet to die once

theyre folding but it has a single shaft down the centre which would have to crush in order for it to kill you

(must admit, i do want better ones)

I bought some lidl ones years ago - they were about £9.99 for 2.

They're still fine and have had everything in the world on them inc an rs4, a eclass estate (old w124), an s4, a saab 9-5 you get the idea.

They're all stamped etc and have been fine!
