I have a query is all.

Their website is vague on the subject but I am looking to get hold of a couple of western / civil war era replicas and the US have several good sites but I can't find much data on UK importation law.

My connection is quite slow today so I thought I'd post here as a shameless corner cut.

I am looking to get hold of a Volcanic pistol and a Walker Colt which are both pre 1870 guns so UK law states you must be over 18 to own them but clearly I don't want HMRC banging at the door for flouting importation laws.

Can anyone shed any light ?

It's worth checking with the sites themselves, as if they regularly export to the UK they may be aware of the process.

Most dealers run import services my local does they will know more.

Or you could try someone like Mick's Guns in Dartford who imports from all over the world, you may be able to piggyback a delivery or he may have what your after. Check out his website it's fascinating.

He has some quality pieces there mp.

He has a Schofield no 3 pistol from the 1870s, genuine.

Nice where was that couldn't find it

His house is a council house in Dartford, looks normal from the outside, go in and it's like a museum and the garage is one massive gun safe.

If your read his pages, he got nicked and everything confiscated and spent some time inside, took him a while but he proved every single item was legitimate, he knows more about firearm law than the law.
