Hi forum im waiting on delivery of the pioneer vsx 520 and
Harman kardon Hkts7 speakers but need to get some cables
Whats the difference with the cable apart from double the price

Its QED qx16 speaker cable
Cheers

"2 core" is normal speaker cable. By 4 core you mean bi-wire, which has the nickname "buy wire" due to the widespread belief that it's a marketing ploy. Essentially, it does filtering at the amp rather than at the speaker, something which isn't worth looking into with this level of kit :)

You can go with cheap, normal speaker cable, any old stuff will do t.b.h. i.m.o. etc. etc.

Well its also useful for bi-amping...

Cable designed for use in PA systems can have 8 or more cores so you use a different pair for each speaker in a stack and then you've only got one cable to run back to your amp stack.
