I have been looking at Black Ops for a wile now and I am unsure as to if I should buy it.

I like MW2 and am liking the concept of the Black Ops customisation is it worth a buy (If I get it I wont be paying the £40 that steam is wanting, I haven't looked around at prices apart from D2D that is £34

Hi there.

I hate these sort of games (my own opinion).

If you want a really good tactical game with kit load out and tbh an endless amount of fun get ARMA combined op.

I would suggest ya get the demo first as it aint every ones cup of tea :).

I love ARMA and use it with a mod called ACE2 best sim out there.

Black Ops has customisation?

Seriously is that all you need to encourage you to buy the same game you already have?

Some people like BO, but I think most people who loved CoD 4 (and even MW2) don't. At £40 or thereabouts I'd say it's not worth risking it. you could have mine for free if it wasn't tied to my damned Steam account...

personally i quite like black ops, and do play it fairly often. all comes down to taste. should be able to pick it up for about 20 quid nowadays i think

You can get it for around £20 now, shop around or use that game price tracking site to find the best deal.

It's less annoying than mw 2, knifing and grenade launchering etc have been made more balanced. It is still more of the same though, nothing new and half of the players use the same ak47 smg.

Well I have loved all the call of duty games and i have found a site that I can get it for £22 Its very tempting :P

It's worth a punt, the single player alone will keep you busy for a few hours. The dedicated server support is also a bonus. Unlike MW2 when you are looking for a new game every other match.

no, poorly optimized, frame and performance issues, buggy, and basically the same as all before but this one really did suck bad..

I really enjoyed MW2 and spent many hours on it. Not in a clan and prefere to just drop in and out at random. Black Ops got very stale very quickly. It looks the same if not worse than MW2, the weapons are nothing special, the maps (basic version - no extortianate map packs) are pretty rubbish in multiplayer with only a few thats worth playing - Nuketown being the choice of most for speed leveling and fast action but is prone to around 90% tubers and campers. The perks are still very lame - 1st team to get a chopper wins! It was buggy the last time I played it - a couple months now. It just didnt have anything at all that made me keep coming back to it. Its rehashed pap for the mass appeal.

Id stay away from it to be fair, like most call of duty games i play them for alittle while then ill just get bored but maybe thats just me :)
