Black vans for under £3k

It's just a holding page....

Oh and it's a 996 C2S

That's honestly the best you could do for a holding page :(?

If the domains out there to be found (which I guess it is) then surely the holding page should at least be attractive and memorable to make potential customers visit again once the site is fully operational?

Is that really the best you have to contribute to the thread?

I'm not a designer, and it's just there until the live site is ready. I'm not even trading yet.

I think it's quite a valid question really?

I just think it's a poor attitude to have, not specific to just you but in general, it's all about first impressions.

Attention to detail, and all...

Oh dude I know, my bad.. I was attempting to be as well, something tells me it didn't come across! :(

You know that did cross my mind believe it or not, hence my question mark after 'whoosh' (which denotes something flying over someone's head by the way), but you sounded so sincere! Well played sir!

Mike just think how smug you can be when this is all up and running and raking in the chips. Starting on members' cars has got to be a good idea, some serious metal here from the likes of Fett and Diamond Mark that I'm sure they'd let you loose on for photo ops (or would they, I don't know?!).

But then maybe you have plenty enough contacts on the IoW with nice cars.

Past Tense:

They will never see these old photos from before I started doing it "professionally".

It's a little more complicated than just public liability insurance, but yes, I will be insured now I'm doing it professionally.

Future Tense:

I'm not a designer, and it's just there until the live site is ready. I'm not even trading yet.

So are you or are you not already doing this 'professionally'?

What do you suggest I do?

Perhaps spend some time thinking more about things, you know, the attention to the detail.

It looks like it was slapped up in two minutes because you couldn't be bothered.

Anyhow, I fully expect you to fall back on 'I'm not a designer' again. It doesn't take a designer to figure out what looks good and what looks bad, though. (The obvious details that is)

It requires some design skill to make something to decide whether it is good or bad or not in the first place. It is hardly terrible considering it's very unlikely that anyone that matters (no, that doesn't include you) will ever see it.

Out of interest what would full paint correction on a 986 S be? Its going in on the 6th for full paint correction on the outside plus a refurb to the alloys and all of the leather. What kind of costs would I be looking at for something like that?

And before you ask yes I am serious, it’s going into my uncle and being done for free so I am not after a quote of anything but I’m just gauging how nice a bottle of whisky I should buy him
