Free online games - Crossfire, Phosphor

I'm getting Cable-broadband soon, so I would love to start playing on some serious games!

I know of Crossfire (big fan, but not a big fan of hackers) and Phosphor (which is a bit choppy / primitive, but free nevertheless)...

So I was wondering, does anyone know of any decent free online games (preferably FPS / racing)
