£140 to upgrade..

Hey,

Looking for a bit of advise on what to upgrade. My current specs are:

Asus p7p55d-e
i5 750 @ 4.2Ghz
ATI Radeon 5830
500gb HDD
1TB HDD
4 GB RAM
Asus P

Just wondering what i should upgrade as i have 140£ to spend on this upgrade.. any help would be appricated

And also would adding more RAM speed up my computer a great deal??

a nice ssd would speed things up nicely - and they are on special this week

The RAM wouldn't really do much, What about a SSD drive?
OCZ Vertex 2E Bigfoot 90GB 3.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive

Maybe a new Graphics card?
HIS ATI Radeon HD 6850 ICEQ X TURBO 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE Games Pack

Maybe a better case?

Another 5830 for crossfire or a gtx470 or sell the 5830 and get a gtx480/gtx560 tii/6950

What PSU does the OP have BTW??

Another HD5830 would give a decent performance boost. If you shop around you can get an HD6870 1GB for around £130 to £140 too.

I have a 600W Corsair psu, and would a 6950 unlocked to a 6970 give a better preformance boost than a second 5830??

sell your old graphics card and with your budget of £140, you might be able to get a 6950 which you can flash to a 6970.

Is your existing gfx card struggling with your games? If not, a nice ssd will perk your whole system up nicely. If it is struggling, then selling it and putting the cash together towards a new 6950 would be a sound option.
