(Though I have been offered, so far, 16k + morale card in one offer, Hulk and Lahm in another. Shame I want neither!)

Is this just because of their rarity or do they perform in a godlike manner, regardless of rating?!

Largely their rarity. I would probably accept the offer tbh, it's hard to predict how much he will be worth in a couple of weeks but I doubt it'll be more than that.
How much is the bidding up to?

Yeah I'm not exactly a master trader.
Next year I'll do better hopefully. 26K, Lahm and Hulk sounds like a good deal for your IF. I'm not sure of the PS3 prices but I think Lahm is around 3,500 coins on 360 and Hulk is about 3K at a guess. Must be much more on the PS3.

They're not going for much more looking at the last few auctions going. I've gone slightly lower than most are listing for and hope they sell for the BIN.
/Edit: Hulk just went for 7k BIN.
Whats this 3k consumable pack about? Is that their Happy Hour?

It's just for the PS3 AFAIK because of the (formally) rididulous cost of the formation cards cos no-one could buy a pack. It just has contracts, positions, formation cards etc.
