if i bought a phone online and i didnt like it after a few days can i return it for a full refund ?

its a PAYG phone and i already have a simcard with credit/data allowance on it

would there be any issues with sending it back to CPW should i not like the phone ?

the phone is sim free so not tied to any network,im thinking the distance selling act will allow me to return the phone if im not happy ?

As long as it is returned as is I guess you'd be OK. As it's a PAYG why not just try it in a shop though?

The DSRs aren't intended to give you any more rights than you would have purchasing from a shop so theoretically it's not ok to purchase something then send it back just because you don't like it - however practically speaking it is quite common and you'd be unlucky to find a retailer that wouldn't allow returns on that basis. As Myshra says though why not just try it out in a shop first if you can that way it's less hassle for all involved.

But it does give you the right to remove the product from the packaging and have a play, just like in a shop. How long you could play with it and how it works when electronics that are registered on use. I have no idea and you would need to delve into the SoGA a little deeper.
