Excuse my ignorance, but how does a car which is unregistered do 93 miles, where exactly?

This is a rare chance to skip the que and be 1 of 450 people in the UK to own a BMW 1 Series M Coupe.

Availability of the 1M is very scarce, and you will be lucky to get an allocation.

This is my 1 Series M Coupe that I ordered last year, and had one of the earliest build dates in the UK - I received it on May 14th.
The reason for selling this car, is simply because it is not for me, and I will not appreciate is for how special it is!

Well why buy it? Not as if he's got it and realised he doesnt like the way it drives is it..

Its not even been two weeks  how can it also be classed as new!?

This reminds me of a Scirocco R that had 850 miles OTC at a local VW main dealer. They refused to acknowledge it had been driven and were still trying to sell as BRAND NEW and unregistered.

Total bull most likely or only part of the reason.

I got one because I might of liked it and could cash in on the waiting lists if I did not.

OR

I wanted to cash in on the waiting list.

...or was hoping to cash in on it.

This.

Happens all to often, tbh. It can work sometimes if the car has a massive waiting list (a cousin of mine got an S1 Lotus Elise when they were first released, drove it for a year, then sold it for what they bought it for as there was an 18 month waiting list).

1996 was so long ago...

It probably is registered - in Guernsey.....

It has plates on it?

Deleted - nevermind. Actually read the ad :D

I live in Guernsey, therefore I will be using a company to send it to the UK, they will also deliver.
The buyer and I will split the cost of shipping.

It will be registered. It would be on trade plates otherwise.

Ninja Edit - It could be on trade plates still. Gsy runs a different system. Jersey has Red plates with white text unlike Gsy which is:

"Much like trade plates in the UK, Guernsey used to have a system whereby the trade plate was issued with a Z prefix, i.e. Z18. This seems to have been replaced with a V prefix, i.e. V18 now."

£50k (near as dammit) for a 1 Series.

Seems wrong to me. :o

Beat me to it!

Seems like an awful lot. Although I imagine an M3 would cost a fair bit more to run, but why wouldn't you just buy a 2 year old M3 and use some of the money saved to run it?
