Whats best usb dongle to get to share wifi with Virgin BB cable?

I can post you an unwanted Netgear WPN824 wireless cable router for a tenner if you message me via trust. :)

You don't need a new modem unless you're on the latest services which is why they won't just give you one.

Yes I'm on Virgin, you just put it between your modem and pc there are 4 wired ports for up to 4 wired devices and the wireless access point for any wireless devices.

Once installed you can log into it via your browser and configure all the wireless security etc, it's fairly plug and play you might just need a modem reboot that's all.

A router is much better than a USB dongle because you don't need your PC to be switched on, only the modem/router.

I called virgin yesterday and asked why I'm paying the same for 20mb as they charge for 30mb. They asked for £30 to upgrade me and I told them they'd lose a customer if they didn't give me what I'm already paying for - I'm not paying the same as everyone else and getting inferior service. After some arguing to and fro about how the 30mb price is for new customers and I asked them how that would make them feel as a loyal customer who has been with them since they took over from NTL - would it make them feel like a valued customer?
They then told me that as a long standing customer they could upgrade me for free and my superhub will be with me next week.

YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER, OP. Stop being a pushover.
