It takes more skill generally to make the space to finesse a shot around the GK and into the goal than a cutback. So much so that time after time those players that could go for the finesse shot stop wiggle and wait for the cheap tap in. I guess you are one of them as you are defending it like this, which is fine if you want to win that badly. It works after all.

No because the keeper has a chance of saving it. the keeper cant save it if its been passed to the side of him and left an open goal. That my friend is not an effective bit of skill. Its the easiest way to score a cheap goal.
 
To be honest its more something we should be annoyed with EA about than a player exploiting it - its on the same lines as FIFA 10 and the GKs running out at every point...

Its not like its something that couldnt have been patched with a little effort...

Yeah exactly

If another player can run to catch up to the play to have that simple cut across and score then why cant our defenders also be able to run back to cancel that cut back

That annoyed the hell out of me. I think I played ultra defensive every game just so no one would be one v one with my keeper so he didnt rush out

In all honesty in a random 1v1 or in Club, Id use any exploit available - like the FIFA 09 one with corners to the back post for an easy header because the way GKs were defending them etc.

Its just not sporting in a friendly game, but unfortunately with randoms your sensibilities/morals dont dictate the other persons - just like in normal FIFA when you go for a none 5star team and they wont reciprocate...

No Im pretty sure you meant whining as winning wouldnt have fit where you meant in to meaning you would have bad grammar as well as spelling.

Nope as I said all cut backs. What you on 360 or PS3?
