Popped into a fastfood outlet with the missus today and as we sat chomping our burgers we saw a car pull up to the drive through window, order, pay and collect their food, park up, get out then walk into the establishment, sit down and start eating.

I understand going through the drive through, then parking up and eating in the car, but to then come into the place to eat? Why not just order your food at the counter? How bizarre.

Maybe I'm missing something

Other than somebody desperately trying to appear to be intellectual, who actually refers to McDonalds like this?

It may have been a Burger King.

I must admit I've done this too at a popular fast food outlet. I decided to use the drive through counter but later decided I'd rather eat inside the establishment.

The rare times i have fast food, i always say Take away, but then sit down anyway. Saves on the Eat-in Tax.

Maybe he had the same idea?
