By overanalysing it you've missed the point.

It was a throwaway joke about how hard you tried to come across as being really literate, thats all. Arguing about it afterwards just makes it more amusing. I just found your choice of words, where everyone else would just have said 'Went to McDonalds', amusing. Thats all.

But tbh fast food is fast food no matter what OUTLET its still all crap.

Speaking of this did any one see that documentary about that bloke who just had McDonalds every day?.
By the 3rd week they had to put a stop to it.
He looked really bad his skin color was nasty.

Thus drive through / eat out CAN be cheaper if certain items are purchased.

Yep and the main item that is extra to eat in is the drinks...well the milk shakes this was what me and me mates (OK me) had and would get charged extra just to drink it in.
