Doctor Who

what was with the standing there at the door for ages.

the amount of time they wasted standing there they all could have ran to the tardis and left :/

I have been extremely disappointed with several episodes this year. The Curse of the Black Spot and The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People.

Too much standing around and not much happening. Come on writers, you have the best opportunity of ANY TV program out there to create some wonderful, weird and exciting stuff - So make it happen!!!! Go to other worlds, make stuff up, find new creatures, Don;t just stay on earth or human like areas.

Back on track with series 6, I too am entirely lost with the end of this episode. I really hope this series makes a comeback.

Please oh please oh please.

The whole thing seems to be geared much more toward a much younger audience imho and the plot lines are........different.

Not sure if I'll keep on watching - there are some huge plot holes/continuity errors :(

This series makes me wonder if the director is trying to be a cross between David lynch and Tim Burton, all we need now is for them to film the whole show with that 'blue tint' that's plagued the Potter films ... its just getting weirder.

I disagree, the last 2 series have been much darker in tone, and i'm sure some kids are going to have nightmares after the monster in tonights episode!!

I'm sure the very young ones will. The older kids...i doubt it.

While Doctor Who has gotten darker over the last two series, it's still aimed at kids primarily, it always will be. Thats why they have Blue Peter competitions where 9 year olds design monsters, or choose to have the colourful daleks, merchandise like lunchboxes and action figures, or musical shows where all the monsters come out in costume that all of the family can enjoy.

They might adds bits here and there to appease the older viewers, but i can never see it being aimed at older kids/adults. The younger kids are Doctor Who's bread and butter.

Noticing a trend between people who don't understand the episodes and also call them crap :p

Don't think it's jack though as it looks like her has curly hair.

Ahhhh true, it was probably riversong running along with a pistol. I think it was the long coat which threw me, it looked like Captain Jacks trenchcoat.

Hmm...hang on a mo. That does make me think. Have we had Captain Jack and Riversong in the same scene???

Could it be...that Riversong is Captain Jack in someway? Or would that be way too far out of left field? :)

Actually no, scrap that..that wouldnt make any sense in relation to the things going backward for her.

oh wow! those trailers look amazing! I can bet that the cliff hanger will be us finding out who Riversong is, but only in the episode after the break :p

I have a feeling shes going to be something evil, maybe to do with patch eye woman?

Just watched the episode and am completely confused. :p

I always thought Riversong was his wife in the future or something? Dunno where that came from.

it makes no more sense if youve seen the rest of the series. its still like erm........k.

The eyes were the flesh watching them, like squidgy CCTV cameras weren't they? I don't think there was anything to read in to.

As for the Amy clone, chances are they have encountered the flesh before but they were unaware of it because it was more advanced, i.e. it happened after this episode on a chronological timeline.

With every episode the notion that the doctor banged Amy is growing greater and greater. Or maybe his sperm is so superduper it can just teleport into her womb. Lets wait and see.
