MW3 Banned in the UK ?

Yeah it's funny how many people are slating it. They'll still buy it and it'll break records for fastest selling game.

If that's how you justify buying this game, good for you.

I know plenty of people who haven't bought any CoD game after the World at War disappointment and rightfully so.

You must be really mad that people don't think CoD is the greatest series ever and want them to buy the same crap all over again :p

All the people that are slating it before it's out are the ones that are probably crap at the game to be honest.

They they get owned online and then come whine on an internet forum how poor the game is blah blah blah.

End of the day don't like it, don't buy it, simples..

Lol, its sad that you actually seem to believe that.

Is it even possible to be bad at CoD games now?

I justify buying this game because its fun to play. That's good enough for me. Graphics I couldn't give a toss about. Gameplay is the most important thing. Give me a ton of new maps and perks/killstreaks etc and i'm happy.

Some people have clearly fallen on their head, no game should be banned ever whatever the content, censorship is not of these times.

Don't like it. Don't play it. Don't post in threads about it.

I don't go in all the other threads about Eve Online or Bad Company 2 slating the games because I don't like them.

Grow up.

Its a series, if I liked a game in the series and dislike a sequel then where better to discuss why its disliked than, shock horror, a thread about it?

I merely find it amusing that you're going on about how CoD is awesome and will defend it to the ends of the earth and have basically stated you'll buy it no matter what like a good little sheep. All it needs is some new maps and minor changes and you'll happily bend over and let Activision take there £40 +£24 for map packs. Who needs innovation eh when you can charge over full price for the same game you released last year?

Its his opinion.

I'll buy it like a good little sheep because going by the past games, I trust the developers to do a good job as they have a good record.

I've been playing PC games for over 10 years and the games I've really enjoyed have had new releases and new versions with far too many changes which has ruined the franchise (Unreal Tournament). With subtle changes the game is still the same working system that's fun to play. People whine about graphics and the same game engine. Fact is, the COD series is now aimed at consoles because that's where the money is. (Shock as a business wants to make money!). Until the new consoles are out we won't see a new engine with better graphics. But like i've said above, gameplay first, graphics second.

Don't get me wrong, I much prefer the PC version as I can't use a pad for shooters but the keyboard and mouse works perfectly fine on a 'console port' so who cares that the game wasn't developed for the PC from the beginning.

All great publicity, lets make it as controvertial as possible and then get some calls to "ban" it = HAPPY ACTIVISION.

I dont get what the big fuss is about CoD, its ok but nothing innovative FPS wise, but then again they are all FPS's are very samey, I tend to play ARMA2:CO as this emphasises CO-OP play and huge maps which i play as part of a Milsim Clan, to which no one goes on about that their K/D Ratio is, or how many headshots they get, if you die thats it.

So because they do nothing but minor alterations to the core gameplay and release new maps connected to the new SP the game is worth another £40-64 is it? Because all the sheep will be playing the new game instead when its essentially the same as the last one?

New consoles won't change a thing. Price tag will get bigger no doubt. They'll upgrade the graphics for the new gen. Then continue releasing the same game year in year out.

Correct.

I'm happy to pay £40 (plus more for expansions) for something i'll put 100s of hours into.

Games have cost £35-£45 new since forever? I see no reason why they'll cost more come next generation.

And whats wrong with the previous game exactly? Its practically the same.

Don't they sell the current consoles at a loss to make profit on the games? Well chances are they'll probably make a bigger loss on the newer consoles so up the price. Or it'll just happen anyway. Activision are hardly pioneers of reasonable pricing.
