Choice of silent 500watt psu?

So the dilemma. I need a very silent and highly efficient PSU. I am preferably looking for 80 plus gold/platinum. So far I have been able to narrow it down to 2 models and since they are in the same price range can't figure which is the better option. Does anyone have experiences with either or recommendations of alternatives with same or better efficiency?

So my choice is:
Enermax Modu87+ 500watt (generally 90% efficient)
or
BeQuiet Dark Power Pro P9 550watt (ditto - generally 90% efficient)

You might want to add the Seasonic X series in to your consideration.

The seasonic looks interesting but I'm afraid it might not survive a GTX580 on extended use. Nice efficiency rating though

(thinking you are talking of the fanless models?)

Actually that 560w x series seasonic looks pretty decent. boy oh boy the confusion is melting my brain. Efficiency wise its better than the bequiet.

I for one can guarantee that the Seasonic will be great - it's Seasonic after all. Also think about the noise, the Seasonic has a Sanyo Denki fan in it (one of the best).

Thanks for the help. Eventually I decided to go for the SeaSonic but X-660 instead of the X-560.
