Hi guys,

In a nut shell what are the main differences between the 3 flavours in the corsair water cooling range?

I'm getting a 2500k/2600k imminently and I just want what's best for it :D

Also, what's the deal with the supplied fans, are they an integral part or can they be replaced - how are they connected? The reason I ask is because there are a lot of people complaining about the noise they make at full speed... oh, and incidentally, how is the speed of the fans managed - can you alter the speed on-the-fly?

Thanks :)

The H50/70 are exactly the same, but the H70 has a thicker rad.

The H60 has a new design with a similar rad to the H50 but a better pump (AFAIK).

They have different sized radiators. The Fans are standard 120mm jobbos but quite loud, they're fitted with long bolts that go through the case and fan and into the rad.

The pump on the other hand seems quite quiet, which is good because it needs to run full whack all the time!

Get the deal at the top right of the screen (its the exact same setup I have for my i5 2500k, but the deal was created after I bought mine! *shakes fist*)

The stock corsair fan you get with the H60 is pretty damn loud and if your abit of a noise prude, will do your head in. The akasa apache fan however is really quiet and still pushes a good amount of CFM through, keeping the temps down. My 2500k at 4.5ghz idles at ~35C and maxes at ~65C during heavy gaming/benchmarking etc

Cool, thanks for that! So the fans can be replaced then, yeah? I don't have to get the soldiering iron out or anything :D

How are they attached to the radiator, 3-pin/molex?

The h60 probably the one to go for then?

Cheers!

the fan and radiator are seperate in the box, you need to put the bolts through to connect them

they are attached with the bolts, not molex or 3-pin :confused::confused:

have a quick glance at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fktc4pN1W38
