Any Kindle owners here who can tell me what *large* PDF support is like?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting a kindle for PDFs for my final year of my undergrad degree.

I was just wondering how well the kindle copes with large PDFs such as 500+ pages or so? In particular, I'm after this book;

for one of my modules. Does it run smoothly on a kindle? Is it easy enough to read?

I did print off the book and bind it but the thing could kill someone if dropped off a 3 storey building...

Much appreciated. :)

I'll test it, give me a few minutes.

Edit: Well, it runs nicely, and all those silly characters display correctly, the only problem is the page size.
Kindle fits 1 PDF page to 1 Kindle page, and that PDF is supposed to be displayed at around A4 size, so the text size gets very very small.

However, if you set the viewing mode to landscape and set the zoom at fit-to-width it looks fine. You just need to scroll a bit vertically.

I have the book printed off as A5 per page, is it about the same size on a kindle? If the clarity of the text is okay, I could cope with a kindle sized screen.
Thanks for trying it out for me matey. :)
