More Bangernomics...

£200 quid sounds pretty impressive for a tax'd and tested car.

Friend of mine swore by cheap cars. He bought a Mk3 Astra with 12months tax and test for £200 quid a few years back and managed to run it for several years not having to spend a penny other than tax, test, insure and fuel. Never needed tyres or brakes and he didnt bother servicing it. No doubt it was a bit of a rotter, but thats pretty fantastic.

How much of a rotter is this one then? torn seats or anything that bad or just some scratches ont he paint

i got £190 for our old rover 400 last week

Not too bad at the moment is it. In total, we weighed in...

My Laguna
My mums old Fiesta
Megane Scenic
Bedford Rascal

Cut the cats off the Scenic and the Fiesta and weighed them in seperate, and the Rascal had some scrap from work in the back. Got just shy of £510 for it, might of got more at a larger place, but this place is literally a stones throw from us, so much easier than trying to get stuff with no tax or test 10/15 miles up the bypass.
:)

Yup, i think its called allowing a 1/4 mile gap in front of anything you pull out in front of just in case...and avoiding hills...
:D

nah just need to 'drop da box' and use your inbuilt smoke shield! ;)

Saying that my smoke shield doesn't seem to be working atm!
