Left it at 4.5.
Had the multiplayer at 4.8 np's, idle was about 36, but running intelburn got it to 90 quite fast.

At 4.5 intel burn hits 70-75 ith 27-29 idle.

So, I'll stick with a slower clock and lower speeds. Overall pretty happy with the cooler, it's reasonably quiet, and makes a marked difference in cooling from stock.
On stock clocks was getting pretty high 70-80 temps on standard with intel burn. 98 on max.
Now only 70. :D

*edit*
Want to ask if its normal for CPU-z to always show the clock as being 4.5
I assumed speedstep would underclock when the cpu wasn't in use. Not that it matters too much, but I think I'd prefare it to step down when not needed. :P

i have that cooler too, and dont try too heavy an overclock - it can get rather toasty - it is only a small cooler :)

Yeah- seeing 90 degrees in Realtemp with intelburn scared me off, so dropped it back down to 4.5GhZ from 4.8.

Only thing is, it seems to be stuck permenently @ 4.5GhZ. I'm fairly sure, it should auto downclock to 1.6 or something on idle- but it isn't. Humm

this cooler is not designed for heavy overclocking. I would be quite worried if i hit 90 degrees.

That's why I turned the clock back down to 4.5Ghz. It was on intelburn max, which seems to make things go very very hot. It only spike to about 65-70 with it on standard, but I thought it best not to risk it.

I have a new problem now anyway. Trying to figure out why it doen't downclock :p
