PB is doing all sorts of whacky things to me now. It was perfect this time a week ago. The tabbing out of windows thing is particularly annoying (And no, I'm not hitting alt+tab accidentally :p). Makes it even trickier when you don't play with an assault rifle/smg because I can be shooting people in the back of the head and they still have a chance to turn around and kill me.

Yep, ive never played a hybrid type like that before. My in game ping was fine, just that im very badly cpu bottlenecked at the mo, (system at stock). Left as i had a pile of updates/programs to install. Unfortunately due to my hdd's packing in, ive lost an awful amount of stuff, thankfully my music collection is backed up to an external hdd.

25 plats is good going.:)
 
Had a brilliant round on CT, full on action lots of people being blown up helicopters falling out the sky and tags being given out like candy ;)

However i did notice one really bad hitreg situation as both me and another player walked from left to right about 10ft away from each other shooting. The hitboxes didn't seem to react to our bullets, it wasn't until i just stopped and used my pistol he died. But side walk straffing didn't do a thing
 
The epicness of the games has really ramped up recently accross all public servers?

Question is, why have the noobs stopped being noobs?

What has made them actually go for objectives now rather than camp and have fights with them selves whilst the 'game' rages around them?

I said it ages ago, that I wish there was a game that rewarded the player for completing objectives or contributing towards objectives, rather than kills.

Then I read somewhere that Homefronts does something similar. Rather than giving a player a kill streak for kills, it gives them the ability to call in choopers etc... for achiving or contributing towards the objectives!

I would LOVE to see the :eek: on some of the noobs faces in a game like cod or a battlefield game, when all their camping gives then a big fat 0 points at the end of the game!

That will make them move their behinds! Epicness comes from team play, and feeling like you are part of a bigger war.

So far the only game for me that comes close to this and is fun to play is BFBC2. (In the modern era)

Want to install Bad Company 2 to my new pc,I have the dvd, but can't find serial number/key or the manual with it on.

I presume there is a copy of it on the hard drive on the old pc, but where?

Had the exact same problem. Got in touch with EA online support, gave them my BC2 account details (the log in you make first time round with your gamer tag etc) and the bloke set me up with a new serial and downloadable copy from EA Download manager. Was spot on service. Only took about 10 minutes :)

Every game ive played tonight has been very laggy, stuck my cpu oc back on, which helped a bit. But it still doesnt feel very smooth.

JamesM: I was amazed the first time I used the 870 with slug rounds and magnum ammo. Even if you saw no more than a pixels worth of snipers noggin on the other side of the map I'm sure it was easier for me to kill him than it was him to kill me.

Just have to either keep moving or hide better! And don't silhouette yourself against the sky on the edges of hills like loads of people do on Heavy Metal.

Might be punkbuster. Seems to be using a high amount of cpu for some people. My game has been running a bit crap lately and I caught punkbuster using 30% cpu :(.
 
Pb in general is a balls up tbh.:D Worst ever curse inflicted on gamers, doesnt even work that well, as you still see a lot of hacks/cheating going on.
 
PB has annoyed me since it screwed me over in Battlefield 2, was playing the game for over 2years didn't exactly have a high rank nor a great k/d but it was fun!. Took about 6months off from the game, came back and found out i was server wide banned for hacking. As everyone know's here i don't hack and have never used an aimbot, but would they have it? NO. Even the IP wasn't mine ffs
