Anyone in the market for new tools?

I DREAD to think what your friendly snap on man would charge for all of that.

And don't forget the 30%APR finance on top! :D

I can't really comprehend why any one would have so many of what are basically the same tool, look at the pliers, really how many pliers to you need, I'm guessing its either a lottery winner who bought it all on a whim or a snap on dealer gone bust and this is his creamed off stock.

hmm estimates only 75k worth

seems quite conservative considering the price of the snap on stuff

You can never have enough tools although I think that comes pretty damn close lol.

Says in the questions:

I am not a mechanic just a carpenter, but i do like good quality tools ,I had the chance to purchase a workshop as a job lot with all the tools ,I did not want them all just the milling machines ,i now need the space for a new machine

Jebus, when I last looked it was at 23k on eBay, and I thought that was expensive!
I had no idea it would be worth 75k, that's a mental amount of money, snap on really must be the most over priced tools ever.

Looks like a lot of duplication - tools for a team of 5 I'd say rather than an individual.

My collection is pretty much the same - bar the duplication - mine's mainly Britool though, insured for £10k iirc.
